. …As Esther Ajayi, RemiAwode bag outstanding awards
By Segun Adio
First week of May each year, members of Cherubim & Seraphim Church Movement everywhere in the world are duty bound to attend the Mount Horeb fiesta. That had been the tradition of the church from time immemorial.
At the mountain, the spiritual gift of the prophets and prophetesses of the church are ‘renewed’ and also share ideas as well as get inspirations from the leadership of the church.
The Year 2019 was therefore not different as hundreds of prophets and prophetesses in the church, from the remotest corners of the earth thronged the Orile-Igbon Galilee Ground of the church for the annual meet in May 2019.
Of course this year’s event was special and far significant than the ones before it for two critical reasons.
First, it was the Golden Jubilee edition of the ascension of Mount Horeb, which started way back in time at Kaduna State before it was recently moved to Orile-Igbon at Ogbomosho in Oyo State.
Apart from coming to renew their ‘anointing’ at the 2019 Mount Horeb event, it was also an occasion to install a new Conference Supervising Prophet after the demise of late Special Apostle Adebayo.
So, the stage was set for the 2019 Mount Horeb event with particular interest in witnessing the installation of the man who would supervise and coordinate the activities of all prophets and prophetesses, going forward.
The anointed man, Special Apostle Zaccheus Abioye Emmuaneul, was ordained in the full glare of participating prophets and prophetesses of the church who had been at the Galilee ground for days before the ordination.
The occasion attracted the ‘Who is who’ in Christendom, the C&S Movement Church, some government functionaries as well as traditional rulers.
Apart from the installation of Prophet Emmanuel as Conference Supervising Prophet, one event that swept participants off their feet was when the globally-acclaimed philanthropist and woman of God, Rev. Mother Esther Abimbola Ajayi, mounted the podium to lead the congregation in earth-shaking and heaven-inspired prayer session, which sent many wagging their tongues.
That was not all about Rev. Mother Ajayi at the Galilee Ground. Ably accompanied by her husband, Rev. Apostle Ademuyiwa Ajayi, she was also billed to receive an award of commendation, ostensibly for numerous supports to the church. Of course, there were some other notable Serpahs and non-Seraphs that were honoured at the 2019 ascension of Mount Horeb.
Among those honoured alongside Rev. Mother Ajayi was Special Apostle Emmanuel Aderemi Awode, Chairman of Chemstar Group. Awode, whose generosity transcended his unit C&S Movement Church, was also a cynosure of all eyes when he was called upon to receive his award of Outstanding Achievement.
Also honoured was Gen. Apostolic (Mother) Bose Osinowo, the proprietress of BO Oil & Gas. Mother Osinowo was recognized for her outstanding partnership with the C&S Church generally and the C&S Movement Church in particular.
Another dignitary who got awards at the event was Apostolic (Mother) V. O. Samson, Chief Executive Officer of Bofas Petroleum & Gas, among others.
Of course, the Olugbon of OrileIgbon, HRM Oba Festus Alao and his Olori were also on hand to add colour to the ceremony. The monarch declared at the occasion that he would always honour invitations of the C&S Movement Church for as long as he lived.
While addressing the congregation, Mother Ajayi also encouraged the womenfolk to remain committed to their marriage and placed their trust in God while maintaining their sanctity in their respective homes. She also urged Christians, especially members of the Cherubim & Seraphim sect to shun gossip, insisting that that was not the lot of children of God. She noted that today’s worshippers gossip in churches instead of coming to the House of God to serve Him.
The high point of the 2019 Ascension of Mount Horeb was the presentation of Most Outstanding Achievers’ award to Rev. (Mother) Ajayi. She was joined for the presentation of the award by her husband, Rev. Apostle Ajayi, the monarch of Orile Igbon and his wife as well as several other important personalities at the ceremony.
Speaking shortly after the award presentation, Rev. Ajayi thanked the leadership of the C&S Movement Church for the honour bestowed on her assuring the Church of her continued partnership anytime she was called upon.
Rev. Ajayi also used the occasion to encourage members of the C&S church globally to start investing heavily on their prayer gown, saying that time is now for Seraphs to prioritize their white garments and make it as immaculately clean as it possible.
Speaking earlier, Spiritual Head of the Cherubim & Seraphim Movement Church, Baba Aladura Samuel Adefila Abidoye, spoke glowingly of Rev. Mother Ajayi, highlighting her immense support for the church. He had prayed that she would continue to succeed in her endeavors where she goes.
