History made, Lagos Chapter embark on secretariat Building

History was made on Monday, November 30, 2020, as the Lagos State chapter formally carried out the turning of the sod ceremony of their Secretariat in a colourful, but spirit-filled service at the site of the project.
The event, led by chairman of the chapter, Snr. Supt. Apostle Dr. Joseph Olatunde Adagba Jpil, had in attendance some heads of churches in the state chapter as well as most of the members of the Executive of the chapter.
Recall that the Secretariat project was a culmination of the promise made to the chapter by Rev. Mother Esther Abimbola Ajayi, when she paid a visit to the chapter on September 17, 2018.
At the turning of the sod ceremony, Elder Adagba paid glowing tribute to Mother Ajayi for her unmatched philanthropy and gesture to the chapter.
The proposed two-storey structure is located at Akinhanmi Street, Ojuelegba area of the state.
Also at the turning of the sod ceremony were Vice Chairman of the chapter, Special Apostle Segun Radio, General Secretary, Evang. Rotimi Odugbesan and Treasurer of the chapter, Apostle Femi Akinpelu.
Also in attendance were Capt. Mother Kehinde Afolabi Kupoluyi, Elder Ajibade, Elder Bosun Dawodu, Bro. Muyiwa Odedina, Rev. Mother Dorcas Ogundeji, Supt. Apos. Mother Ope Lawal, Queen Capt. Olatoun Fashola, Rev. Mother Nike George, among several members of the chapter that graced the occasion.
Elder Adagba used the occasion to trace the genesis of the desire to have a befitting secretariat for the chapter, the initiative first conceived by a former chairman of the chapter, the late Snr. Supt. Apostle Stephen Durojaiye Awoyemi.
In an interview with Serap hnews, Elder Adagba expanded a great appreciation to Mother Esther Ajayi for the love and support to the chapter and for fulfilling her commitment to giving the body a suitable Secretariat for the chapter.
According to him,” all glory be to God, it is the Lord’s doing, I don’t have the capacity to order things or to put things right or order the time of anything, it is God. as a person I feel elated that during our time, this is happening, not Adagba’s time but Adagba’s led team. He added that the building will soon be completed as the sponsor of the project Rev. Mother Esther Ajayi has mobilized the contractor in charge who I believe will not disappoint us. The building by God’s grace will have a multipurpose hall, offices and parking space. The significant and this historic event will lift us high as a state of excellence because we lead and others follow he said”
