Supreme Head in maiden Pastoral visit to Lagos State chapter

History was made, on Monday, April 12, 2021, in the Lagos State chapter when the Supreme Head of Cherubim & Seraphim Unification Church of Nigeria, His Most Eminence Prophet Dr. Solomon Adegboyega Alao JP, was received in the chapter on a Pastoral visit.
It would be the first such visit by a sitting Supreme Head to the monthly meeting of the chapter.
The fairly capacious church auditorium of the chapter Secretariat at C&S (Oke Iye) Society at No. 101, Cemetery Street, Ebute Meta area of the state was filled to capacity -albeit with strict observance of the COVID-19 protocols – for the Olori’ visit.
Of course the chapter had commenced its meeting before the Olori sauntered into the arena at exactly 5:15pm. He was met outside the church premises by chairman of the chapter, Snr. Supt. Ap. Joseph Adagba JP, his vice, Sp. Ap. Segun Adio JP, the General Secretary, Evang. Dr. Rotimi Odugbesan JP and the chapter’s Treasurer, Ap. Femi Akinpelu JP.
The Olori was ushered into the church with hymn ‘Ijo Kerubu Tiye’, while all members clapped with admiration and joy of the occasion.
The chapter’s Vice Chairman formally introduced the Supreme Head to the chapter while welcoming him to the gathering. Then the chapter’s chairman, Snr. Supt. Apostle Adagba, in his welcome address, extolled the good leadership virtues of the Supreme Head and how delighted the chapter was to receive him.
The chapter’s chairman also commended the Supreme Head’s visionary leadership as he strives to take the C&S church to the next level.
Responding, the Supreme Head commended the leadership of the chapter for their steadfastness in pursuing the goals and objectives of the founding fathers of the Unification.
The Supreme Head also commended the support always accorded the Church at any time the chapter was called upon.
He described the Lagos State chapter as the ‘Numero Uno’ in the church for its support to the Church.
The Supreme Head, however, urged all Seraphs in the state to continue to be good ambassadors of the church wherever they found themselves. The Olori also urged Seraphs to play active part in political activities in the state and the country at large. He, however, admonished Seraphs not to be part of anything untoward or anti-christian wherever they were.
The Supreme Head also said Seraphs should be ready to contribute more to all projects going on in the C&S Unification Church of Nigeria. He solicited for more support from the Lagos State chapter in activities of the Church.
The visit of the Supreme Head would forever be a memorable one for the leadership and members of the chapter as they pleaded with him to make the visit more frequent.
