Adeboye silences Critics

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, has finally revealed his reasons behind dedicating a white garment church.
Pastor Adeboye who had in September 5th 2021 dedicated and delivered the sermon at Love of Christ Generation Church, C&S an Ultra Modern Church built by the Ambassador Plenipotentiary of white garment churches, Rev. Mother Abimbola Esther Ajayi at Water Corporation Drive off Ligali Ayorinde Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The clergy made this known during one of his sermon.
According to him, I have been criticized by so many people about the dedication of a white garment church, I was asked why someone of my calibre will go to a white garment church
but “I told them it was based on divine instruction. The Lord has directed me to go there”.
The octogenarian reminded his critics of the story stated in Acts of Apostles 11:1-18, after Peter came from the house of Cornelius, the great apostles gathered together, called him to a meeting and challenged him what he was doing in the house of a gentile? We heard that you went there? They didn’t tell us all that they said but they probably told him you went to the house of a gentile because he was rich. Peter had to say that the spirit made him go.
Adeboye, shared a similar experience that occurred in 1982
” I was invited to one little white-garment church, it wasn’t a big one. I went because they said they have heard about me and I should come and preach. I got to the door, they asked me to remove my shoes, I did, because the spirit made me go. There was a man in the church, an engineer, that God knew he was going to need in the building of a campground that we had not even located at the time.
“I went, I preached, the engineer gave his life to Jesus Christ. He came to the Redeemed Christian Church of God and he became the engineer who started the work of the camp, he was the second-in-command to the spiritual head.
“I went because God said go, In the things of God, don’t jump to conclusion, tread carefully”
