The PUNCH appoints Seraph Oketola as Editor

The management of Punch Newspaper has announced the appointment of Seraph Dayo Oketola as the Editor of the paper.

Brother Oketola is a member of Media Seraphs and promoter of Adura International Magazine.

He has contributed immensely to the rebranding process of the church and ensure positive stories about the church have a space in The PUNCH, without compromising the ethic of his profession.

A statement by the Chief PRO of the church, Snr Supt Apostle Muyiwa Adeyemi, in his congratulatory message to the new Editor noted that Brother Dayo will be the first Seraph to be an Editor of such a newspaper brand.

Oketola is currently the Weekend Editor, editing both Saturday and Sunday Punch and his new appointment will take effect from Monday April 4, this 2022.

Adeyemi also urged all Seraphs to remember him in their prayers for a successful tenure, noting that such office is laden with landmines and banana peels but trust on the God of Moses Orimolade to see him through in the exalted position.
According to the management of the Newspaper “Oketola, was also a former Business Editor of The PUNCH, is by this promotion expected to leverage his leadership and media skills to sustain and enhance PUNCH’s leadership of the nation’s newspaper market.
