He, thereafter, declared the seminar open.
Chairperson of the Planning Committee, Mother-in-Israel Oyeyemi Olufemi, presented the aims and objectives of the seminar to participants and according to her, “this seminar is organised to set standard for the good women of our church, to educate our women on importance of women in the society and purpose of God for our existence, to highlight our responsibilities as women in our homes, churches and society at large, to make our men realise how important and relevant we are and not to see us as a competitors or second class citizens.”

However, the theme of the seminar, ‘Why Did God Create Woman’ was delivered by the Assistant Secretary General II of the C&S Unification Church of Nigeria, Snr. Apostle Tayo Ajose jpil. Apostle Ajose, who delivered a thought-provoking paper referred to Genesis 2: 18-22 where why God created women could be found. He itemised four main points from the passage. He said God created women because there was need for a helpmate for the man He had earlier created. “There was none out of all the animals that God created that He found can be used as a helpmate for man
God used part of the man’s body to create the Woman. “Man named the creature woman and the name shows integration at the level of it’s formation,” he said
The Speaker added that “women were expected to build and keep their homes; build and keep their relationship with God; build and keep God’s kingdom.”
However, Apostle Ajose admonished women to “discover their purpose of creation and run with it in order for them to end well and receive the crown of glory that had been prepared for those that ran the race well.”
The sub-theme paper presenter was Snr. Mother – in-Israel (Dr.) Oluwakemi Aladenusi Jpil who spoke on the topic ‘A Godly Woman in an Ungodly World’.
Mother Aladenusi gave five things that make a godly woman to rule in an ungodly world;
Her words, “A Godly woman loves God first and gives her life to Christ; a Godly woman loves her husband; a Godly woman loves her children; a Godly woman should not be distracted, Godly woman must develop Christian character.”
She agrees with the fact that being a Godly woman in an ungodly world was not an easy task, “but we can do all things in Christ which strengthens us as stated in the book of Philippians chapter four verse thirteen. “God has given us the power to become pillars,” she said.
In his good will message, Chairman C&S Unification Church of Nigeria, Lagos State chapter, Special Apostle (Dr.) Segun Adio appreciated Seraph women generally for the new things God has began through them for development of the Church.
He said women were created specially designed by God, hence, men as fathers or husbands should treat them specially.
Apostle Adio however, tasked the women on the need to train their children in the ways of God especially in outer churches.
He used the opportunity to condemn modern day practises like indecent dressing (indecent prayer gowns) in some of our churches today among the women folk. He admonished Seraph women to be decent in their dressing within and outside the houses of prayers. In addition, he implored women to develop techniques to discipline their children.
Queen Captain Mother Fashola, immediate past Chairperson of Good Women Congress, Lagos State chapter, also encouraged women to live holy lives.
In her good will message, she said that women must support their husbands in all they do, “train your children in God’s way so that you can rest in your old age.”
She advised women to make their homes habitable for their family so that they would all experience peace.
